One day Rhi and I found ourselves in the stomach-wrenching position of having to shop in one of those blood-curdlingly generic malls. Having survived the suicide-inducing effects of the real world we had a sudden urge to get out of the town and drive into the pretty wooded hills overlooking Talbot Green shopping centre. Neither of us knew where we were going or why but we ended up outside The Cross Keys Hotel in Llantrisant, a sign outside enblazened with the words "LIVE MUSIC HERE EVERY SATURDAY". Always prepared Rhi jumped out of the car and thrust a Ridinghood CD into the hands of the wonderful landlady, Lisa. She listened to the CD that night and booked us the next day. Tomorrow we return, just the two of us, to rock you in ways that would make Tenacious D proud.
